Where To Go To Meet Someone

Are you longing to meet someone but don't know where to go? Would you like to discover some new venues for meeting people to date?

It is easy to fall into a pattern of going to the same places over and over, doing the same activities, looking to connect with a potential romance, only to leave feeling alone and hopeless. Perhaps you need an infusion of imagination, courage, and new ideas of where to look for love.

What have you always wanted to do but put it off because you didn't have time? What have you often thought might be fun, but didn't explore because you were too timid, or busy, or didn't have anyone to go with? Now is the time to seize those ideas and do something about them.

Groups of people who share your excitement for certain activities will be a strong place for meeting someone.

Find a subject you have wanted to know more about. This will give you a dose of energy and enthusiasm. When your emotions are actively engaged and you are looking forward to what you are doing, you become very attractive.

Start with an adult school catalog. Look into taking classes in any of the following:

Interest Group List

Foreign languages, travel, business and marketing, communications, computer skills, time management, investing, gardening, oil painting, sculpture, watercolors, carpentry, mechanics, writing (fiction, memoir, mystery, how-to), music appreciation, acting, singing, piano, cello, guitar, violin, photography, anthropology, cooking, wine tasting, social dancing, relationships, yoga, meditation, chess, and needle work.

Consider some new sports that you have never tried before such as: horse shoes, kick boxing, karate, racquet ball, tennis, baseball, soccer, field hockey, rock climbing, fishing, volleyball, cycling, caving, kayaking, horseback riding, hiking, golf, water skiing, snow skiing, snow shoeing, snow boarding, swimming, diving, roller blading, and ice skating.

Let this list be a beginning. Make a plan for the month of places to go. Go with a friend or go alone. Just go.Between the change in your usual routine and your new interest groups, you will increase the volume of your selection pool.

Don't forget to have fun.

Back to School: Textbook Savings

If you are sending your adult children off to college you know that there are three school related expenses which make up the bulk of your budget: tuition, room and board, and textbooks. The first two expenses are mostly fixed and predictable costs, while the third is impossible to predict as well as a potential budget buster. You may not be able to predict textbook expenses, but you certainly can reduce them by following these three important steps:

1. Shop Online. Your college bookstore has an ironclad grip on textbook inventory, right? Well, at one time that was a true statement. Today, thanks to the internet, websites have sprung up that sell new and used textbooks at prices much lower than those found on campus. Shop with those retailers who have clearly outlined payment, shipping and handling, and return policies. Scan auction sites too for additional savings.

2. Shop Retail. The big bookstore retailers as well as some of the office supply stores carry some titles. At the very least your student can purchase all of his or her supplies off campus, saving you big money in the process.

3. Shop Used. Your campus bookstore knows that having used textbooks on hand will keep them somewhat competitive. The trick with textbook publishers is that yearly updates can make used copies obsolete: planned obsolescence in action! Still, when I was in school I had one professor who encouraged students to pick up the outdated copies of one book since he knew the cost was outrageous and he planned on referencing it sparingly. Your student may also learn that some of the titles on the professor's list are optional, not mandatory purchases.

Students today no longer have to feel as if they are being held hostage by outrageous textbook prices. Have your student shop wisely and your budget will remain on track.

Bradshaw/Montana No Show

Ok, so usually something like this wouldnt bother me but the more I got thinking about it, the more steamed I became. All but three living Super Bowl MVPs were present for the Pre-Game Ceremony. Those players were Terry Bradshaw, Joe Montana, and Jake Scott. Oh, Jake Scott was traveling in Australia and could not make it you say? Well were Bradshaw and Montana with him? No, they werent! Wait, did you say they were both in Detroit at some point last week. What could have happened that would have kept them from attending a Ceremony honoring a game that has been both good and lucrative to them lets see:

1.)Death in the Family Nope not that, I called and spoke with every immediate member of the Bradshaw and Montana family and all alive THANK GOD!

2.)Sickness Nope, not that either. These were two of the toughest players ever to suit so there was no way a cold would have kept them from that

So then what is left? Ill tell you MONEY! Bradshaw and Montana declined coming to the Super Bowl because it did not pay enough. Who do they think they are, Ted DiBiase? Not even close They are two guys who owe at least showing up to a sport that has made them, if nothing elseFREAKIN LOADED.

Joe Montana reportedly was asking for $100,000 dollars as an appearance fee. That is $99,000 more than Steve Young received for showing up and although I believe Montana was a better QB, he wasnt 100X better!

Terry Bradshaw 4 time SB Champion 2 Time SB MVP.NO Show! Although he didnt come out and say its about money.its about money. Bradshaw is one of the highest paid Motivational Speakers in the country so he is paid big time to show up at events. Here is the kicker He was in Detroit appearing that week to talk to

some group. Oh, another thing I just remembered, The Steelers were in the Super Bowl! Nice Terry, way to support your team.ASS!

People talk about todays athlete and how it is only about the money and how the athlete of yester-year did it for The Love of the Game Well Jerome Bettis, modern athlete, showed up to play the game he loved while Bradshaw and Montana, wellyou know.

A Comfortable Sofa For Your Home!

A soft, plush sofa can be so inviting...even if you're visiting in someone else's home. Sofas can really make a home comfortable and relaxing. Sofas come in a variety of styles such as sectional sofas, leather sofas and sleeper sofas. One of the first things both you and your guests will notice, each time they come into your home, is how comfortable and relaxing the furniture looks.

Well chosen sofas will help to give your home furnishings the elegance and style you want.

Sofas are generally referred to as stuffed, padded, and spring-cushioned furniture. Sofas are also defined by the decorative materials and fabrics that cover them.

The first furniture upholstery was probably leather, stretched on without padding. Italian Renaissance chairs were cushioned with leather, velvet, or embroidery; the French made ornate chairs covered with tapestries and embroideries; England developed upholstery in Elizabethan and Jacobean reigns.

The use of springs is comparatively modern. Hair, fiber, flock, foam rubber, down, and kapok are used for padding in modern upholstery, and woven fabrics, plastics, leather, and synthetic leather serve as coverings.

There are thousands and thousands of sofas, sectional sofas and other home furnishings to choose from over the internet.

Choose from only the best sofas representatives who offer quality, elegance, quick delivery to your home and, of course, great prices!
